BDO acted as advisors to the Senior Management Team of Suir who have invested in the business alongside Duke Street.
Suir is a Waterford-based provider of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation engineering services, employing c.1,300 people and has an annual turnover of c.€300m. The business was a jointly owned subsidiary of French giants Veolia/Dalia and EDF Energy who agreed to sell the business to Duke Street, a UK private equity group with a strong track record of investing in industrial service companies. This transaction will enable the Company to enhance the services it offers to clients and target further international expansion across Europe and beyond.
