BDO Corporate Finance were happy to have acted as lead advisors to NPP Group Ltd on the acquisition of Asgaard Packaging Limited.

NPP, founded in 1984, specialise in delivering high quality packaging to a range of industries including Food, Agri, Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices; and is one of the leading suppliers in the flexible packaging market.

Asgaard is a well-known supplier of flexible packaging and also offers a range of machinery and equipment. The acquisition will further expand NPP's product range and will help the company's strategy to become a "one stop shop" for all flexible packaging.

The deal was led by Katharine Byrne, Corporate Finance Partner, BDO Ireland.
