Angela is an experienced Corporate Tax partner and leads BDO Ireland’s Financial Services Tax team.

Services & Specialism

As Head of Financial Services Tax, Angela leads a team of tax professionals advising clients in all areas of financial services, including private equity, asset management, aircraft leasing, debt securitisation, insurance and reinsurance, and financing companies. 

An experienced tax professional, Angela has extensive experience in tax structuring, international tax planning, and M&A advice.

Angela is a Chartered Tax Advisor. She holds a BA(Hons) in Accounting and Human Resource Management from the National College of Ireland. She has lectured for the Institute of Bankers in Ireland and the Smurfit Business School in their masters programme. 

Angela is a regular presenter and contributor on topical tax issues and leads BDO Ireland’s Tax Library.

Angela also holds a Certificate in Sustainability Strategy, Risk and Reporting from Chartered Accountants Ireland.
