Donal Ryan

Donal is an audit partner with 18 years of experience in the financial services industry both in Ireland and North America, specialising in a wide array of client types, including asset management companies, UCITS, AIFs, special purpose vehicles, hedge funds, private equity, and securitisations.

Throughout his career, Donal has worked closely with clients within the broad financial services sector, providing tailored assurance and advisory services. He is recognised for helping clients navigate complex issues and ensuring compliance with international accounting standards such as IFRS, US GAAP, and other local regulatory requirements.

At a firm level, he has been instrumental in leading risk, quality, and transformation initiatives. In this capacity, he has spearheaded efforts to enhance audit methodologies, improve client service delivery, and ensure adherence to the highest level of quality while providing valuable insights to his clients.  

Donal is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and holds a BBL in Business and Law from University College Dublin.
