Eimear O'Hare

Eimear is a Senior Manager in BDO Ireland’s Deal Advisory group. She began her career at BDO, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, and has been with the firm for over 14 years. During this time, Eimear has worked on mergers, acquisitions, disposals, equity capital raising, finance options as well as advising management teams on management buy-outs (MBO). Eimear is a member of BDO Global Private Equity Group. 
 

Services & Specialism

Eimear specialises in developing, institutionalising, and maintaining long-term commercial relationships with private equity firms and other financial sponsors across Ireland, the UK, Europe, and the US. Her role involves forging robust professional connections with financial sponsors, gaining a deep understanding of their investment criteria, and addressing the unique challenges and aspirations of their portfolio companies.

Her experience covers a broad spectrum of deals across various sectors, allowing her to cultivate a thorough knowledge of the M&A market landscape. This expertise enables her to generate a continuous stream of tailored proprietary investment ideas and insights, assisting her clients with effective deal sourcing and origination.
Eimear completed a BSc Hons degree in Accounting at University of Ulster.
