Saiprasad Chandrasekaran

Sai is an Audit Director with BDO Ireland, overseeing the provision of audit services to a diverse portfolio of local, regional, and multinational clients. With over 13 years of experience in leading and delivering audits, Sai brings substantial expertise to his role. Before joining BDO Ireland, Sai spent 10 years with another large firm, gaining valuable experience in both Ireland and India.

Sai has significant experience in auditing, financial reporting matters, and corporate governance across various sectors. In his role, he assists the audit committee in fulfilling its responsibilities by providing open and frequent communication with both management and the audit committee. Sai adopts a hands-on and pragmatic approach in leading audits for many organisations across a broad spectrum of sectors.
Sai's areas of focus include leading complex, multi-jurisdictional audit engagements and rendering professional advice to businesses in the retail, education, technology, telecommunications, real estate, and manufacturing sectors. He has extensive experience working with large listed and unlisted clients under both FRS 102 and IFRS.
Sai is a Bachelor of Commerce Graduate and a member of the institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
