Giraffe

BDO Ireland recently advised the shareholders of Giraffe Childcare, in relation to the sale of their business to Busy Bees, a childcare company with 35 years' experience in the sector. 

Giraffe Childcare was founded in 2001 and operates 21 settings in the Greater Dublin area, offering nursery places as well as affterschool care to children up to the age of 12. Busy Bees who operate in excess of 360 sites across the UK, has acquired 100 per cent of Giraffe Childcare from its shareholders, and marks their first investment in Ireland.
